Fedor Anounces that he is Retiring........That Infamous Sweater.

According to MMA Fighting.com Fedor Emelianenko has decided to put his eighties inspired tan with blue and green stripes sweater that he wore on many occasions, out to pasture, so to speak.. He spoke with The MMA Hour's, Ariel Helwani about the sweater stating,

"I cannot understand actually why this sweater became that famous and there is no famous sweater actually because that's my wear, that's my manner," Fedor said through a translator. "I take the thing and I wear it until it becomes really very old. And I know this sweater became really very old."

Fedor also told Helwani that the illustious sweater that he had worn to many press conferences was back home and that he would present it to Helwani. I'm sure Helwani will have it suitably framed and hung in the radio studio.

Fedor will be seen this Saturday fighting Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva in the first round of the Strikeforce Heavyweight tournament on Showtime at 10pm EST.
